New Amateur Definitions

• "World Competitor" Status for Amateurs will allow a select few of the amateur competitors in the USA to be able to teach - comparable to what exists nternationally today. This classification will apply only to couples in the International Style Standard and Latin because those styles are the only ones where couples represent the USA abroad at world events.
• Additionally clarification of the status of college students who teach in the university setting as part of their major or minor area of study was addressed.
• Competition organizers were also given the ability to hold competitions for couples that strictly fall into the definition of "amateur", or to also include those couples who would now be part of the new "world competitor" designation.
